In-game username: cbr 1000

Age:29

Time zone:central

Discord username: luciferspvmer

Time played in-game: a little over 2 months

Previous staff/moderation experience: coded and owned my own server back in the day but nothing recently

Specify your current availability in terms of time slots or hours per week/day:I work mon-fri 8-5, I'm usually on for my lunch break for a hour at 1pm, and on after work for a about 4-5 hours. Weekends are 5-8 hours of availability

Why do you want to be a part of the Elyx staff team? Absolutely love this server and the community, always willing to help as need be with people or bugs, whatever it may be. I'm here for the long run and would love to see elyx at its peak in a few months time were it belongs !

What skills/qualities would you bring to the team? Great communication skills, very knowledgeable of the game. I'm a people person when it comes to needing to lend a hand no matter the situation

What experience do you have with OSRS or RSPS? Been playing 07rs since 2004, hopped on rsps back in the start when Moparscapes were the big thing.

How familiar are you with the specific features & gameplay mechanics of Elyx? Been playing almost everyday for 2 months + and I'm very familiar with all its features, and willing to learn as the new ones come out and help others learn as well

Have you ever been a part of an in-game support team before? If so, what did you learn from that experience? Nope , just owned my own server back in 2010 for about 6 months

How comfortable are you working in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment? I work on cars for a living so that's no problem for me. Can handle multiple problems at once and the stress doesn't get the best of me

What qualities do you think are essential for someone working in a support role for an online gaming community? Being a great helper, leading by example. Always willing to lend a hand on the game or on discord. Giving back to the community via events , hide and seeks. Just being around and showing your there to help in any case

How do you approach situations where you don't have all the information needed to solve a player's issue? Like they say there is always 2 sides to a story . So best to hear out both sides and figure out what exactly is the issue /problems and work to a conclusion that works in both favors (depending on the extent of the problem)

How would you handle a situation where a player is being abusive or harassing others in the game? Depending on how bad the abuse was, it would be either a warning or a insta mute. Then it would be documented and given to higher staff to work with them and see how they feel about the action to which I took , or if there needs to be further action taken

Describe a time when you had to make a difficult decision as a support role. How did you handle it? I've got 3 kids so there isn't a time I'm not a support role for them. There's tons. I have a very personal one that I don't think needs to be put on a public forum so if need be I will absolutely do a private message and tell the owner.

What training/resources would you require to be a successful server support? Just some help understanding all the ins and outs there is for a server support . What I am allowed to handle and what I have to send to higher up staff

Can you outline the contributions and efforts you've dedicated to Elyx thus far? Been online a lot, helping whenever I'm online. Always giving a warm welcome to the new players as well as tips and tricks that I've learned that helped me a ton on my journey so far

How would you balance your role as a server support with your personal life? Well as many of you know I have 3 small children, they are my life and the will always come first. But I do have a lot of free time being that they are little and fall asleep early, take regular naps. So being around on elyx and helping won't be a issue. My oldest plays soccer but I stay at home and watch the 2 littlest while my wife goes to the games. We have a Sunday funday every couple of weeks but that only lasts for a few hours since they are young and get tired easily.

Thanks for reading!
